The Columbia Alliance for Healthcare Management represents the faculty research, healthcare curricula, career services, and student interests, of all dual degree programs offered by Columbia’s Graduate School of Business, Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health, and College of Physicians and Surgeons. Our Advisory Board comprises industry professionals from major academic medical centers, community hospitals, national payors and provider networks, and global pharmaceutical and biotech firms—many of whom are graduates of Columbia graduate programs in business, public health, and/or medicine.

Utilizing the research and resources from these three schools, the Alliance is well-positioned to help faculty, students, and prospective employers find world-class research, career opportunities, and talent focusing on healthcare and pharmaceutical management and clinical challenges in today’s fast-paced healthcare environment. The Alliance offers several benefits to single- and dual-degree students, alumni, and faculty of the three schools it represents:

• Online resume books for prospective employer review

• Central repository of links to recent research, publications, and press interviews from our esteemed faculty

• Links to healthcare-related courses that are available for cross-registration

• Information about the various dual-degree programs—including links to all three partner schools—as well as valuable insights to prospective applicants, new students, and alumni

• Links to school-specific healthcare initiatives, student clubs, research, and career/alumni resources

• Information regarding Alliance faculty leadership and management, affiliated faculty, our Advisory Board, and upcoming events

Thus, please feel free to explore our site and learn more about the Alliance and what it can do for you as a prospective applicant, current student or faculty member, prospective employer, and/or alumnus. We welcome your feedback and comments on our site, too, including what we can do to make it easier to navigate, to improve its content, and to help you with specific questions whether on- or off-campus.

I hope you will find our Alliance offerings, including access to leading healthcare research, graduate programs, current students, career resources, and alumni support, to be timely and valuable. Thanks in advance for helping make the Columbia Alliance for Healthcare Management a leader in medical, business, and public health collaboration. I look forward to your participation in our efforts, support for our student and faculty programs, and connection to our vast network of alumni. Please do not hesitate to contact me at the electronic mail address below if you have any questions or want to help with our Alliance efforts.

Warm regards,
